"The view was very pleasant every morning with my cup of coffee. Very quiet neighborhood very relaxing. I stayed for two months the place was very clean. It had Everything you needed. The host was very accommodating. Thank you very much for a great two months."

"The cabin is located on a farm in a very peaceful setting. The resident dog greeted us daily and was a welcome sight. The cabin is comfortable and overlooks the water. It was a very peaceful stay! Would recommend it if you want to unplug!"

"We loved everything about the Cabin and the stay. It was clean and perfect for our weekend getaway. The bed was comfortable and the cabin had all the furnishings you would need. The Bison were right outside the door and we loved watching them while enjoying morning coffee. Traveled into town to eat a few establishments. Would return for another stay!"

"All good except open stairs with a 2 1/2 year old were a bit of a worry and a challenge because that is where, of course, he wanted to climb. Great kitchen set up for family meals and game time."

"Myself and two of my buddies did a fishing trip to the lake. The cabin was a short trip to the boat launch. The cabin was very clean and everything was well organized. The amenities that were supplied were sufficient. The staff had great communication with us when we needed it and addressed all of our questions. The only thing that I would say is that the Wi-Fi was a little quirky. For us it did not matter cuz we were not there to mess around on that Wi-Fi very much. I would recommend these...

"The property was clean, and the bathroom had been remodeled and the mattresses changed since our last stay. Also, I'm pretty sure we left 2 Iowa Chops in the freezer. I think they fell behind the ice bin. Feel free to eat them. We just purchased them on Friday."

"If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, nature filled get away, this is a perfect choice. The front porch provides a beautiful view of the river side of Lake Rathbun. The sky is full of birds, pelicans, and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets...along with hummingbirds that fly right up on the porch with you. It's a simple charming atmosphere, peaceful, relaxing and just minutes away from the boat ramp. A hidden gem, highly recommend."

"This property is absolutely fantastic! The owner was super friendly & hospitable. The interior was clean & well maintained. They didn’t spare any expense (like some VRBO’s do) on the mattress. It was super comfortable & I slept like a log. Super quiet & somewhat remote leads to a very nice stay. Take a chance on this we’ll kept secret. You won’t be disappointed."

"The cabin was spotless and very well stocked with everything promised on the website. The location offers spectacular views of a pond and a nice trail for walking. The cabin was nice and warm for our February stay and it was peacefully quiet and so relaxing. The only thing that was sightly disappointing is how fast the hot water runs out. Plan on less than a ten minute shower or turn it off and on during the whole shower process. We will definitely be staying again."

"There are several rental cabins available in varying sizes. This is close to the state park, a local bar/restaurant, and easy access to the lake. The cabins are clean and easy to rent. We enjoyed the outdoor fire place. I would recommend to anyone looking to stay at Lake Rathbun to book one of these cabins."
