As the pictures show, it is on the small side, but the big backyard really makes up for it. We spent most of our time sitting outside at the patio table. "We absolutely love the Crystal Blue cottage! My best friend and I have stayed here twice now and it will likely be our forever rental when we come down. "Great location, far enough away to be quiet and out of the crowd yet close enough to take a short walk to area attractions. Room was very clean and views were perfect, the 9th floor was a great perspective of the beach. All interactions with staff was friendly and helpful. Owners reacted out to us the first day to make sure we had a good experience and to see if we needed anything, that was a great first impression for me. We will definitely be looking to stay here again soon"

"My fiancé and I recently came to town for a doctors appointment and were searching for a dog-friendly spot to crash with our two pups. The Sandcastle did not disappoint. Located in walking distance to great restaurants, shopping, and the beach, we really enjoyed our two night stay here. The outdoor patio area is really nice for sitting out in the sun for both humans and canine visitors. Our pups loved it. We stayed in the downstairs unit which is small but quaint and cozy with just enough room...

"We loved our stay. That’s the main thing. Everything was great. Location was perfect and everything was easy and comfortable. Just two tips: the first aid kit needs to be restocked. My partner knicked themselves shaving and there were no bandaids. Also, it’d be a huge plus if there was already soap in the property for showering! Was just a little inconvenient to have to go to the store for soap. Loved our stay!"

"It was a wonderful place, however carolina beach definitely over sells what they have to offer. I also felt very offended by the host of property. She texted me and basically accused us of leaving condo in an unsatisfactory condition, in whi h we left a day early because of a family emergency, and i did accident leave a pan in stove and microwave. But not one of us had gummy bears, moved any furniture. But she messaged me saying her house keeper cleaned unit for 7 hours which had to be a lie...
