"hotel in extensive grounds near delightful beach"
This is more like a resort than an hotel. Rooms are in 3 storey blocks in a kilometre of landscaped grounds. There are a lot of rooms but the site is so large that you rarely see many people. you can walk around the site or be driven (by staff) in golf buggies.
Breakfast is simply lovely with an enormous choice and an army of chefs and waiters.
We enjoyed our stay here (again) and will return in the future. I stay regularly in hotels and one thing is apparent here - any variation is possible but you have to pay for it. Nothing is complimentary.
We stayed for 3 nights and though our junior suite was expensive it was large with a great bathroom, air conditioning and a large balcony. Worth every penny.
The staff were very friendly and the breakfasts had a nice variation. Well located near to the water in a quiet and friendly area with lots of places to eat nearby and places to explore further along. Beaches are a little further away but the swimming pool is lovely to lay around.
We booked this hotel for a break for a wedding and were all so impressed. Apartments are fantastic, staff lovely. Pool great, although initially cold! Lol... We had no background information of the place so went in blind and were so pleased. The ages of our party ranged from 6-69 and all loved it!
This hotel is in a lovely unspoilt Spanish town away from the tourist resorts. The building has been beautifully restored in a contemporary style but still preserving the original features. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the pretty garden and pool area is very peaceful, a quiet oasis away from the bustle of the town itself. Good restaurants, bars and shops are on the doorstep and are frequented by both tourists and local Spanish people. This was our second visit to the hotel and we loved it just as much this second time as the first. However, we felt that our room was looking a little worn and would have benefitted from a fresh coat of paint (this is the beginning of the main holiday season). Maybe a sign of the economic times?

I found this place entirely by accident and I'm so glad I did. The situation is very special with fantastic views all around, and complete peace and quite at night (aside from the front door!). It is not a fancy luxury hotel at all... but perfectly comfortable, spotless and friendly.
The food was simple but good, and given the long drive to anywhere else to eat, I would recommend the Half Board option available.
Met interesting people each night.
I hope very much to spend another weekend here soon...
