"I rarely write reviews (especially if I had a positive experience). However, in this case, I felt really compelled to write on. This is a smaller hotel, 1 block from the beach in Knokke and family run. The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. They are very accommodating with special requests. "Our first time in such a property. We should have planned ahead a bit better - i.e. took some basic groceries with us to avoid having to find a shop in the dark and rain. The property was fantastic - classy, cozy and spacious. The Tram was nearby. We ate at the Waterline and the Royal. Suggest visit to De Haan and Blanckenberg. "

"Small hotel owned by a mom and son. The son was extremely rude. He flat out told me: I don't like you. The rooms are small and need remodeling. There is no parking near the hotel, we had to street park several blocks away. The beach is not very nice either. I travel a lot and this place was disappointing. The only positive thing about the hotel is the breakfast buffet. I would not recommend this place"

"No towels… must rent them. No hand soap in bathroom or kitchen. Bed is not made must make it yourself. Dead bugs on floor. Hallway area was run down and smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. We paid extra for an ocean view room and did have a great view and overall felt relatively safe. "
