Had lots of problems with the room cleanliness raised it with two managers 4 members of the team and still not sorted after 3 nights. Not putting details on here as it was partially resolved and the managers aware.

In desperate need of an update!
Overall a decent stay. The entrance & part of the hotel is nice & contemporary. But the stairs, our corridor & our rooms were in desperate need of an upgrade. Very run down & outdated. The gym was very basic also.

Hotel with a Football team doesn’t hit the spot!
First time here after changing to Delta brand. It was all a bit eclectic for my taste, not the normal Marriott standard which I use around the world. All the front desk staff need a lesson in welcoming and courtesy. The hotel was hosting Eintract Frankfurt for their game against Spurs. That wasn’t our fault! We had to argue for more breakfast items coz the football team had eaten it all! Disappointing.

Embarrassing 4 star hotel!
Booked a room with breakfast but when I went for breakfast the next morning I wasn’t on the list so had to produce my receipt to prove I had paid for breakfast. I was then asked to leave my food half way through eating as reception said that I shouldn’t be in the dining room as I hadn’t paid! I had to ask the waitress if I’d heard her correctly. You want me to leave my breakfast to go to reception to show them my receipt? Yes please she replied and I’ll make sure no one touches your food! As you can imagine everyone in the dining room is now looking at me! I walked to reception, totally perplexed as to why a 4 star hotel is asking a guest to leave their breakfast to show proof of purchase for a breakfast that’s already been checked. The male receptionist was very rude didn’t offer an apology and just told me it was an error on the computer and that I may return to finish my breakfast! I feel sorry for the young waitress who was ordered by the reception or management staff to tell me to leave my breakfast. Better protocols need to be put in place to avoid embarrassing guests and getting junior staff to carry out unnecessary checks on guests. The decor in some of the rooms is very outdated too, I think some of the rooms have been refurbed and some clearly haven’t. All in all this hotel needs to do much better especially if it’s touting itself as a 4 star hotel!

I agree the issues in breakfast with your billing is unacceptable and not what you should expect from any hotel let alone a 4* Marriott Hotel I am sorry for this. I am currently investigating who this was and will be giving them all training on what should be done in these circumstances.You are right we have refurbished 50% of the rooms recently and are looking to start the others very shortly to ensure they are all a Delta contemperary room style with modern amenities such as walk in showers, USB sockets and 55" televisions.I am sorry you were disappointed with the experience and would be delighted to be able to welcome you back in the future to show that these issues were a one off and not our normal level of service.Thank you again for the feedback.Kind RegardsKarlGeneral Manager

The beds were terribly soft. Either share bed with husband and both roll to the middle or use twin bed arrangement and lie in a hammock. 4 days of perpetual back ache. Never again.

Shocking hotel
The receptionist was a trainee and seemed to get no support at all from colleagues. I got charged twice for one stay and still await a refund 1 week later. Room was not cleaned correctly, half empty water bottle at side of bed, toilet bowl not cleaned correcly and long black hairs on the bathroom floor

Mediocre, it might be a bit hit and miss.
The Hotel appears to be renovated and looked great in reception and bar, however my room was very dated, I felt like i was in the 80's. though it was clean. The mattress was uncomfortable with a mattress topper not really able to mitigate the problem. The bath was also far too small. I ate at the hotel restaurant. I thought I cannot go wrong with Burger and chips, but the Burger was disappointing, it was dry and the size of the cheap small burgers you'd get in the freezer section of a supermarket. It was also served on a wooden board, which i'm not a fan of. Later on, many people were waiting ages for there food with some deciding to order takeaways or go else where, watching this unfold I felt sorry for the staff on duty as something was clearly wrong in the kitchen. The staff were friendly and polite. It wouldn't be my first choice if i had to stay in the area again.

Clean and comfortable hotel.
We enjoyed our 1 night at Delta Cheshunt. The hotel was very comfortable, cleanliness was excellent and beds very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional with an amazing amount of different things available. Would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were efficient and pleasant

A sad family event made easier.
My stay at the Cheshunt Marriott Hotel was an extremely pleasant experience. The room well appointed and clean. The staff were well trained always polite and courteous and made my stay there very pleasant.
