Clean room in a hotel that is in easy walking distance from Roma St train station. Just across the road from tghe lovely Roma Street Parklands.

Very centrally located between all the things we visited over the weekend for; fortitude valley, howard smith wharves, CBD and Suncorp Stadium. All walkable within about 2km/30m tops but scooters everywhere for convenience. Access and rooms felt safe. Facilities are very limited and basically you just have a room here, which suited us perfectly. Rooms were small but functional and everything inside worked properly and was extremely clean. Hotel staff at reception very helpful and efficient: although a small hotel, the gentleman gave the impression of having been former career concierge or hotel manager at much larger hotel. Parking was easy as we arrived a little before check in but is limited. Weekend parking in back streets free though which is good. Cleanind staff always friendly when passing by. My first observation on arrival from the driveway was the cleaning staff wiping the room balcony balustrades outside, which i thought was impressively thorough and good attention to detail.

I was spoken to as if I was a child throughout the whole check-in process. I felt like I'd done something wrong from the second I walked into reception. Rooms were immaculate, good location, prompt correspondence after booking and a friendly confirmation email with very clear instructions the day before arrival. Will definitely stay again.

The room was TINY! I'm talking 3x4m plus a small narrow ensuite. It was smaller than my bedroom at home. The photos are very deceptive. No lift, stairs are very hard with a bung knee. Hotel location is near train station, but means a very steep walk to get there!! The room was lovely and clean and the staff were really nice. Room could do with a cosmetic makeover. Very comfy beds. No shops nearby.

If you just want a bed and shower for a night then book this place. As it is tiny and very old. You definitely cannot hangout in your room for too long. Not worth the prices theyre asking for. Maybe because of the location they charge the amounts. They have a restaurant that is never open. Don't supply you a toaster but you get a hairdryer. So only stay if your a business person or just in Brisbane for a night. Or travelling through. Location is good. They have parking which is a bonus. Noisy.

I'd stay there again.
A lovely convenient location in a very nice section of Brisbane. Ventured to Brisbane to see a live musical act needing a hotel for a nightly rest before my 100 km return drive. Interaction with hotel staff was pleasant. Stay short but sweet.

This is a good hotel when exploring Brisbane. It is close to the train station and the surroundings of botanical gardens makes it a lovely place to explore. The room is basic, but it is clean and everything works well.

Ideal for a one night stopover. Rooms are on the small side but perfectly adequate for what we needed. Only downside is no lift access and we were on the 4th floor.

The walk up the hill from the train station is a little steep. The hotel is an amazing value for money paid. I stayed at the Royal Albert which is like 1/4 mile away and paid 2x what I paid here. This room is a lot smaller but I don’t require that much room anyways. Ray at the front desk was amazing. Highly recommend this place for a budget conscious traveler.

Was charged an extra $50 for arriving after hours, at no time was this communicated to me that I would be charged extra for turning up at 8:15pm and I spoke to the staff multiple times before arriving and when I arrived, they just charged the extra to my my card after we left the next morning

Thank you to Ray and James, who came and found me when I managed to get lost! This place is conveniently located close to the Roma St Railway Hub - easy walking distance. The Soho is an older, quirky building but clean, tidy and has everything you need for a short stop over. The well stocked drinks fridge in reception is a godsend after a long travel day and no will to go wandering any further.

We found Soho clean, practical, value for money, quiet and once we got our head around where we were it was a great location. Rooms were small but all we needed.Being elderly we found transport diffucult. Walking was hills and hollows but we got ourselves sorted with uber, which was cost effective. The staff were amazing and full of great information. We would stay again.
