Great hotel, really nice rooms and beautiful mountain views. The breakfast was great as well. The hotel was very nice and I recommend getting a mountain view room because it's gorgeous. The hotel even called our room when they saw the Northern lights outside our rooms! 10/10 experience

This property has wake up calls for the northern lights. If they hadn’t called, we would have slept through. They have two nice hot tubs and a sauna. The food at the restaurant was delicious!

I love everything about this Hotel. The room, easy parking, bar and free breakfast was so great!! I also seen the northern lights there. They call you if they see them. I spent two wonderful nights there. Would highly recommend this place.

Shower broken, fan in bathroom not good, bathroom was really wet after each shower, even with leaving the door open. Dangerous as the floor was soaked. Door to patio was flimsy and difficult to lock. Most expensive room of our trip at over $200 per night, and the smallest.

Great for Aurora!
Beautiful views of sunrise over mountains at breakfast and fantastic access to outdoors for Northern Lights at night with wake up call for the Aurora. What’s not to like! Very comfortable although it was a bit chilly in the room on arrival but it did warm up with heater on so all perfect

Nice ground floor hotel in nice quiet location. Loves the sauna option with hot tub. The sauna could have been warmer. Dinner was excellent and breakfast bountiful. The high 5 stars for the staff of the hotel. Slovenian and Czechs mixed with Icelandic people were amazing. Thank you.

Nice bar and restaurant area. We had a room right on off one of the holes to the golf course. We had the opportunity to easily view the Northern Lights out our back door the evening we stayed there.

The property is great. I highly recommend this place. The only suggestion I have is that they should control flies in the breakfast area. The beds were very comfortable. They should also think about adding a laundry facility in the hotel. The staff is really nice.

Hotel is clean and the staff is very nice. However we were initially double-charged for a room that we’d pre-paid (we got this cleared up the next day). Room didn’t have any ventilation but it was quiet enough to sleep with a window open. Good restaurant and breakfast buffet.

Beautiful golf course hotel. Amazing view of the course itself and the landscape behind of Borgarfjörður. Nice room with a lovely outside seating area. Good breakfast. Really nice outside area with hot tubs and sauna. Definitely keen on coming back sometime!

A nice hotel near Borganes
This is a good hotel, but the rooms are on the small size. The bathroom are also tiny. This is my third time staying here. The hotel is conveniently located close to town, but not walkable distance. One small nitpick is that the rooms do not have any built in USB charging ports. This is common in many hotels now and is very convenient for charging devices. The hotel should consider installing those in each room.

The restaurant was grossly overpriced for the value. I had the fish and chips and the tempura batter far outweighed the amount of fish. The hamburger was overcooked and mealy. I would not recommend eating here.

Amazing place to stay. We had the most beautiful experience with our 1 night stay in April 2023. Hot tub with a beautiful view, gourmet breakfast, and late night call to see northern lights. If we visit Iceland again, definitely staying at this hotel again.
