Stay here if you have the opportunity.
This was the second time we have stayed here and it was just as good as the first time. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. You won't regret your stay. Wonderful staff.

One of my favorite stays
Such a great hotel. Staff was wonderful and very helpful with all our questions. Room was exceptionally clean. Great location within walking distance to many, many things. Such a hidden gem.

Life's a bowl of cherry blossoms!
Reception staff was very helpful. We came for the Cherry blossoms, and were fortunate to have booked our parking with the hotel in advance (limited, and surrounding area was full up with other tourists). The hotel is on a quiet one way street connecting the two best viewing streets for the blossoms. Breakfast was great, many choices and all either local sourced or fair trade, and organic. They even had hummus and avocado spreads for vegetarians like us! There is an outside terrace during warmer season to enjoy breakfast too. Hotel is in 'Alte Stadt' with many quaint local shops and restaurants. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance or a short tram ride. The German History Museum on Museum Mile is free and very interesting. The river cruise was not yet open, but we drove down to Schloss Drachenfels on our last day for lunch and great views of the Rhine region. We came to Bonn for the cherry blossoms, but saw so much more thanks to the tips from our hotel staff. We'll definitely come again, and won't hesitate to stay at the Aigner. Might even book one of their apartments if we bring our son along.

Very noisy at the front of the hotel - unlucky?
There may have been a special event at the local bar as the noise was very loud with drunk people shouting in the street until 1am. Closed the window (not ideal as it was a warm night) and still too noisy to sleep. All not ideal with work the next day. To the credit of the hotel, they moved me to a small room at the back of the hotel for the second night and it was perfectly quiet - phew. Nice breakfast, friendly staff and nice artwork around the hotel.

This is an older small hotel, but clean, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast was great and the staff are excellent. Very good location in central Bonn. Great value!

hotel close to sakura street
We booked this hotel because we found from the map that it is the hotel situated closest to the Heerastrake street with cherry blossoms. We were able to take photos of sakura nearby. The supermarket Rewe is 5 minutes' walk away.

Great hotel for Bonn visit.
Fab hotel , In Aldstat Bonn 2 minutes from underground. Round corner from great local bars. Ate breakfast outside in garden terrace. Great breakfast, always fresh fruit, rolls, cheeses, cold meat, jams etc. Very pleasant staff and helpful. Was extremely hot when we were there last week asked if they had a fan and within 5 minutes cleaner had put one in my room. Great having fridge, 2 rings , sink, pots and dishes if wanted to cook. Even had washup liquid and tea towel provided also table and chairs. I would most definately recommend this hotel to others for friendliness, cleanliness, comfort, good breakfast and central to transport system and Bonn centre / sights too.

Well located, simple hotel
Our room was clean, small, and simple. It was quite cold in our room, and it took a couple hours after we turned up the heater for the room to get warm, so I recommend turning the heater up as soon as you get in the room if you visit in the wintertime. The breakfast was sufficient, although you have to be served coffee (the rest of the breakfast is self-serve), and we were not served coffee although we did see that some of the other tables had been served coffee, so I think we were just overlooked. However, the hotel is in a great location, nearby to shops, restaurants, and the Christmas market (if you visit during the holiday season).

This hotel is great. It's in a very convenient location close to the city centre and in a quiet street. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast was excellent. The room was functional and had everything I needed.

Bonn sleepover

This was our first time at Hotel Aigner and we will definitely come back. The hotel is very well located - about 5 minutes from the main "downtown" area of Bonn with many shops and restaurants, yet in a quiet street. The breakfast buffet was excellent with many delicious choices and very friendly service. There are several "Kneipen" (bars) and restaurants as well as small shops (book stores, antiques, clothing boutiques) in the immediate neighborhood and the bigger department stores and shopping area pedestrian zone just about three blocks away. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful; PC available and Wi-Fi access is free for 30 minutes and reasonably priced for longer periods of time or whole days. Rooms are simple, very clean, with TV, modern bathrooms; apartments are available as well. Bikes can be rented at the hotel.

Friendly Service
arrived late but that was not a problem for the friendly staff. Was given an apartment with cooking facilities. Impressed by the standard for the price. Would definitely recommend this place and have it on my list of places I would return to!

A very well-run small hotel
I can't think of a thing I'd want to change; a comfortable, quiet, well-lit room, equipped very thoughtfully. I had everything I needed, and the staff was always attentive, friendly, and helpful The location was on a small quiet street, a block from the U-Bahn, and three blocks from the shopping district. It was an easy and pleasant 15-minute walk to the main train station. All in all, a good trade-off between quiet at night, and convenience during the day.

A Gem like no other.
My only gripes are the giant way to fluffy pillows (if my head sinks into the pillow, I don't like it) and no A/C (you can open the windows to cool the room off quick). As for everything else, location was very convenient to the city center area, a 5 minute walk at best. If it's raining, they have umbrellas to borrow. Staff was super friendly, I will be staying here again if I need a hotel in Bonn again. Staff understood English very well. Another nice little perk was that the rooms didn't have a key card, they used an actual key which is nice. Rates vs. location vs. quality was bar none the best deal around. Totally worth it and cheapest WiFi internet around only 5 euros total for a 4 day stay and 10 euros if it's longer than that. Another hotel charged 14.50 per day.

Nice place close to the Bonn city centre
Reasonably priced hotel in great, alternative part of city within easy walk of the centre. Good breakfast included in room rate. We travelled by bike and there was space to store them securely at the hotel.

Excellent hotel in the centre of Bonn
Stayed at the Hotel Aigner for one night on a business trip. Excellent location in a quiet backstreet five minutes walk from the Stadthaus tram stop and ten minutes walk from the city centre. Single room was smallish, but very comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well-equipped. Staff were friendly, polite and efficient. Breakfast was excellent: a typical German buffet breakfast with a wide range of rolls, cheese, cold meat, fruit and cereal. Altogether, a very pleasant experience. Highly recommended.

This was the most disappointing hotel in which we stayed in Germany. Whilst it was clean and well maintained, it was in a time warp - badly needs updating. Also, more off the beaten track than we were lead to believe. Breakfast and service was good but served in another dull and out of date room.

Das freundliche Personal und die bestechende Lage inmitten der Altstadt kommen uns sehr bei unseren Bonn-Besuchen entgegen. Wir sind bereits mehrmals hier gewesen - auch mit Freunden und erwachsenen Kindern; zumeist mit Frühstück im hübschen Innenhof, wenn das Wetter es erlaubte.

Fijn hotel, ruime nette kamer, goed ontbijt en je word er vriendelijk ontvangen. Vanuit het hotel loop je zo het centrum in. Goed te bereiken vanaf de autosnelweg maar ook vanaf het station.

Gerne wieder.
Das Hotel ist schön in der Altstadt gelegen. In dem großen Innenhof gab es eine prima Fahrradabstellmöglichkeit. Das Hotelzimmer war schön groß, das Bett bequem und das Bad sehr gut. Das Frühstück konnten wir auf der Außenterasse einnehmen, was bei dem heißen Wetter sehr angenehm war. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.
