"The beds are good. The street is calm. The staff is nice and speaks english atop of german. The Phantasia Land shuttle is near. The parking (10 euros per night) is not far, but is a bit difficult with 5 meters cars. "The hotel is the other side of the railway from the town centre so has to be reached by tunnel under the station - the nearest one is ok but the next one was not nice and there were people begging outside the supermarket next to the hotel. The hotel, however is fine - my room was large enough with fridge and good wardrobe and although my room looked down on the railway platforms I didn't hear anything when the window was closed. "We very much enjoyed our stay here. Our bedroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The food was excellent and the views over the Rhine were beautiful. The staff were very friendly and I liked the fact that I could practice my German without them immediately going into English! My only small complaint was that I would have liked a bathtub in the bathroom which was spacious enough to have one. Otherwise it was a lovely hotel and we hope to come again sometime."

"I was not happy about not having AC in the rooms. Bonn is very hot and all they were able to provide was a desk fan. I opened the window slightly and when I returned from my meeting, I found it locked with no key to open it. Except for breakfast, they were unable to provide sandwiches or any substantial snacks - only chocolates and sweets. The advertising of this hotel on Expedia is highly overrated. This is not a four-star hotel. "

"The hotel was most accommodating, from check in to check out. Staff were super friendly and resourceful. The room was very comfortable, and quiet. Location is primo to old town and train station. We had excellent breakfasts at the hotel, wide selection of items, and staff were helpful with preparing my omelette and encouraged to take coffee to go. If our hotels for the rest of our journey through Europe are even close to the Cologne Hilton we will be very happy! "
