"We just took a few days off. We took the train trip so we knew we weren’t going to be hanging out in the room very much. If we were staying longer, we would have gotten the upstairs suite with full kitchen. Everything looked great. The only downside was the bed is super soft. But that’s just our preference. It was lovely."

We were a little surprised that we were on the lower level of the house. But thats probably because I (the wife) assumed vrbo rentals were only properties that were seperate from the residence. "John and Wes are great hosts. They give you your privacy, but available to talk anytime. The carriage house was impeccably clean and very comfortable to stay in. The outdoor grounds are lovely with many nice sitting areas. We loved the dogs…it is their job to greet you, but they are extremely well-behaved. We would not hesitate to stay here if we are down this way again!"

"The property could not be in a more ideal spot when you are ready to stay steps away from the shops and restaurants. It was decorated beautifully. There was also a dedicated space in the bedroom where he could set up to work a little. We enjoy coming to Blue Ridge several times a year and this was a great spot to stay when in town!"
