"We got to our room, and the air conditioner did not cool properly. Called the front desk and the desk clerk came up immediately. She agreed with us that the unit was not working, offered to switch rooms for us but all she had were smoking rooms. We said we would move to a new room. She got back with us shortly and said she did the sniff test on the rooms she had available, and let us have the least objectionable one. Happily, the room we got did not smell like smoke at all, although the hallways on the floor did. We had a pleasant stay and were so greatful for the helpfulness of the desk clerk."
