"Our stay in Batalha could have started out poorly as William notified us the night before our arrival that our reservation had not recorded properly, and there was no availability for our first night. He quickly made the situation right by finding us a great hotel in town for the first night. Olive Hill is as nice as it looks in the photos, and clearly William is cut out for his second career in hospitality. We’d definitely stay there again."

Only drawback was that the air conditioning wasn't working and that wasn't disclosed to us until checkin, hense the 3* on description. Nicola, the property mgr. was great to accommodate with fans. "Sao Martinho is a jewel of a town and this place is close walking distance to everything. When the sun’s out, you couldn’t ask for a better place. Great yard with parking. "What a lovely home, with extraordinary views of the ocean. Our group of 4 couples was able to settle in easily, with all of the necessary comforts. During our stay, we enjoyed the nearby trail to the beach and the extensive walking/running trail along the main road. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked many meals there.
