"We arrived early and could check in. Used pool and jacuzzi overlooking Perugia. Lovely and relaxing at the end of the trip. First impressions of this ancient castle did not disappoint. "The stay was very good the only problem was the ac units had been shut down for the season and the room was very hot 24 degrees and you could not open the windows as there were no screens and the mosquito were still bad. Great location easy walking distance to all places and the restaurant attached was very good. Breakfast was good even had hard boiled eggs which is a very rare thing in Italy it appears that no one eats a big breakfast here only pastries and coffee "

"A truly excellent hotel in terms of value for money, service, cleanliness, decor and transport links. It's a two star, but I suspect if it had a lift it would rank higher. There are only three floors in total and there was a stair lift, if needed, for suitcases etc. The owner is a lovely, friendly and helpful lady and the hotel is directly opposite the train station for Assisi with frequent buses to the old town. I would highly recommend thus hotel. "
