The staff at this hotel were second to none, nothing was too much trouble for them and they were very helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel is looking a little tired and is in need of modernising,but even so,we would definately come back to same Hotel, as positioning,friendlyness and not too bad prices lol.It is also a shame that the hotel hasn't got a bar,which would be great.

Beautiful character building, with the European feel. Excellent area, close to so many things and right in the main area. The staff are phenomenal. Highly recommend this place to stay.

I really like this hotel but the room we were in was a non-smoking room but we were getting the smell of smoke in through the vent.

Location, location, location. You're in the very heart of Barcelona, a great budget short stay hotel. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and I was able to keep my bag at reception after check out at no extra cost. Now, the reason its so reasonably priced is because its basic accommodation. Economy rooms have shared bathroom facilities, yuk,I was happy to pay the small amount extra to avoid this. The bed was comfortable and after all you're in Barcelona, you wont be in it for long!

We arrived late. The hotel said they had a 24 hour reception which was not advertised (told it shut at 12 midnight). Location is awesome, close to all bus services. The guy on reception was really helpful, the hotel were able to keep our bags for us whilst we went walkabout. It is 2 star accommodation but was clean and comfortable and all we needed for our stay.

The location is excellent. Easy access to public transportation. Our room was facing the street and it was kind of nosiy. The property is dated. But the staff is friendly and helpful!

Excellent value for money
Fantastic location in the centre of the city, the staff were helpful friendly and always had a smile to offer . This is one of the best no frills hotels I have stopped at. Excellent value for money.

Great concierge service. Nice room. Simple and good value for money. Centrally located with transport close and most sites in the city easy to walk to. Highly recommend for budget travellers.

The location is perfect for Barcelona! 5 minute walk around placa de catalunya from the airport transfer bus. Nuria restaurant around the corner is highly recommended. It is a perfect base location for Barcelona. The rooms are fairly good, perfectly clean, but the bed ARE quite spartan and hard. There is no comfort layer, at least in our room. These were extremely firm mattresses. (In my working life I sold mattresses for a living.) still, we will be returning for our last night before the flight out because; location, location, location!

I was looking for a centrally placed hotel and this certainly fitted the bill. The staff, with one exception, were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very small and more like you would find in a hostel than a hotel. The building was old and had a lot of character but was in need of refurbishment.

The staff from when I first came, Luis, Ruen, David, Nuria and the other two ladies were all friendly and helpful! I miss them already! The location was perfectly centered, intersection of Placa de Catalunya and La Rambla. Metro, busses, food places and shopping stores are one to five minutes from the door of the hotel! Amazing!

Front desk staff were super nice and helpful they went beyond to accommodate me! Room had everything that I need it and location is perfect, close to the shopping area, market and shuttle bus to the airport. Would stay there again.

I am definitely going to stay here again and will recommended to all of my coworkers friends and family to stay here. The location is exquisite the rooms were very clean and well maintained! The staff was very polite professional and helpful. We were supremely happy on our trip.

great hotel in an amazing location. staff friendly and helpful. good clean room - basic but that is all is needed, it's just to sleep in at night! Air conditioning unit is very noisy, but had it on for a few hours in daytime to keep room cool and turned it off at night. It helps if you shut the shutters before you go out too. Had a balcony overlooking Catalunya square which was great for people watching at night and first thing. No bad things to say.
