Used out hats to scoop water from the lake to put out foot high flames. Management at resort once we eventually arrived were non plussed. No acknowledgement of our ordeal other then and apology. Used out hats to scoop water from the lake to put out foot high flames. Management at resort once we eventually arrived were non plussed. No acknowledgement of our ordeal other then and apology. Not even a complimentary beer! Cut short at start and at end due to the boat fire. Such a shame because it's a beautiful location. Needs money spending on repairs to walkways and steps into the water as dangerous too. Book with Cate as it's pretty pricey. A day trip or at the most 1 night stay is the maximum I'd recommend booking. Such a shame. "
