Relaxing and peaceful
We loved our time at Mayaloka and were very sad to leave. The service was amazing and the 2 bedroom pool villa was beautiful. We can’t wait to be back there again.

Week away over Xmas/NY. We wanted the space to relax and still be close to the beach and restaurants. The villa was perfect. So much outdoor space, great private pool and perfect location. The Staff were wonderful. We would definitely recommend.

Comfortable villa on the quiet end of Seminyak
Location: Located on the north side of Seminyak, with that it’s quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. Probably a bit too far to walk to the heart of Seminyak, so villa provides some drop offs throughout the day which is a nice touch. Staff: Staff are lovely, helpful and always smiling Breakfast: good portion, punctual on the times you request, decent selection Villa: stayed at an one bedroom pool villa, the bedroom is a good size, comfortable bed. Bathroom is completely outdoor, quite a neat experience but also as it being completely open, there are geckos, mosquitos and a lot of ants which could be off putting for some. Swimming pool gets decent amount of sun and a nice size for a couple. Cleanliness: probably the biggest let down, the mosquito net over the bedroom had some unpleasant looking stains. Pool looked like it did not get cleaned once during the stay, not even the racking of the leaves. The pool we had was directly under a tree where a lot of leaves fell each day. The water color was pretty unpleasant with lots of floaties (leaves, bugs, bird poop!) towards the last couple of days our stay. We’ve not had this before in any other villas (stayed at 2 others before) so that was definitely disappointing.

Amazing private Bali villa
This is our first time visiting Bali and we have not been disappointed. The villas are a beautiful oasis to immerse yourself in. They have an authentic Bali to feel to them and are also super clean with all commodities one would need. There is an amazing breakfast which is delivered each morning to the villa. Finally, the staff are wonderful; friendly, polite and incredibly helpful (they even brought my partner a birthday cake). Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we hope to return one day.

Beautiful villa. It’s outside so never going to be clean but they do a great job. Washroom is 100% open concept (no door to the toilet) which some travellers may not be comfortable with.

Lovely long weekend
Booked a few hours before we arrived for a weekend. Perfect villa (we were in #2), plenty of room, very private pool, king bed that was very comfy, quite and peaceful ambience. Staff were very attentive and very polite and keen to have a conversation which was lovely. Breakfast was brought to us in our villa, great selection and pretty decent food - recommend the Indo options. Staff kept the mosquito quoil lit and provided natural anti-bug spray. Couldn't have asked for a more lovely stay, many thanks to the staff.

Convenient cozy nice villa
Small villa and has a privacy and comfortable aunbiounce but the furniture and facilities need to upgrade. We didn't feel clean. There was used bandage in the shower area when we checked in and the one was there until we check out. Those who don't really care about it, it's a nice villa. All staff are very good and friendly but the things we requested over the phone from the room, never delivered to us. Easy access to sminyak town and beach too. There is no restaurant in the villa.

Unique hotel experience
We stayed at the 2-bedroom villa for 3 nights and we enjoyed every day at Mayaloka. Breakfast is no buffet, we had to order the night before but the meals were decent. It was great having breakfast outdoor overlooking the private pool. The bathroom is a little tricky to use as it is an open bathroom. But we got used to it after several times. The pool is well maintained and we had nice swims everyday. The only downside was there were lots of mosquitoes but that was expected as the villa was surrounded with lots of trees. But the staffs will come at night to do some mosquitoes spraying etc and there were also insect repellent provided. The staffs were really friendly and helpful too. This villa is highly recommended for everyone - couples, families or group of friends.

Villas are lovely but a bit secluded & a narrow side street. There's only a small reception & no restaurant area. You get breakfast delivered to you. Service was excellent & staff friendly. There's a shuttle service to the main square & not close to the beach.

One-bedroom villa in need of a little TLC
We stayed during August 2015 and were unfortunate to stay at Mayaloka villas during a time where building work was going on next door to the villa. This was a big disruption to our stay as the workers would work until 10.30pm at night which did not make for a very peaceful stay. Also the crane that the builders used was positioned overlooking our private villa and pool which was not appropriate and made us feel uncomfortable. Due to these reasons we actually decided to cut short our stay after two nights and move to another accommodation as we felt we were not enjoying our holiday as we should. The staff were apologetic about the situation and were very helpful in assisting us in our early departure. The villa itself is a little tired and in need of a bit of TLC.

Lovely ambience of traditional style villa.
The staff were friendly and very helpful, the room & garden lovely. It would have been perfect but for the building site next door. Thankfully it didn't operate every day but the noise was deafening when they were working.

We enjoyed our stay here, the staff were amazing and very helpful! The only problem was the high rise construction site right next door, it took away some of the privacy and they worked from 8am to 10pm everyday.

Luxury close to nature (stayed January 2015)
Loved this place! The staff are so friendly and helpful when booking tours. We stayed in Villa three and it was great! Lots of space and the pool was a great size! The lounge room and bathroom are open air so it really has the 'wow' factor. I loved the outdoor shower. The villa has shuttles that take you into the heart of seminyak or my partner and I went for a walk and there was some good eating spots near by. Only downside was the mosquitoes! But kind of expected when your in a tropical environment, they have onw of the staff come spray your villa at night to keep them at bay. Just use the bug spray and you'll be fine.

Nice relaxing hotel with great plunge pool.
Very relaxing stay, close to Seminyak Square 5 min ride, shuttle service 4 times day only drop off but get blue taxi back cheap. Cobbled path to villa not so good so ask for villa close to reception. Very friendly staff, good brekky and room service food. Good restaurants in walking distance go to Warung Eny nice local food. Is looking a bit tired but if you want a relaxing, romantic stay in nice surroundings this is it.

A wonderful romantic getaway
We stayed at the hotel for 5 days for our honeymoon. It was truly a wonderful experience. Right from the airport pick up which was complimentary and arrived on time, to the wonderfully decorated bed and flowers in the bath tub, everything was well organized. on the first night, the hotel arranged for a wonderful candle light setting on our private pool. The place is quite and ideal for relaxation. The pool and the room are well maintained and clean. The staff is very polite and helpful. The breakfast was very good although as eggitarians, we were restricted mainly to eggs and rice. On the cons, the hotel is not very close to the beach and it takes a good 10 min walk, although they do provide shuttle services every two hours to seminyak and petitenget beaches. Also the kitchen closes at 830 pm, so you might want to have your dinner early or plan to eat outside

Value for money.
Location is not the best because there is a short (5-8mins)walk to the main road from the villa, due to many contractions along the way, it's really unpleasant. But they have a shuttle service that operate every two hours from 10am to 6pm. Many nice restaurants are just a few mins away, I would suggest to use their shuttle or get them to call a cab. We often ask them to call a cab and it cost 30,000 (USD2.5) per trip within Seminyak. Our one bedroom villa is big and comfortable. We hardly stay in the open area due the mosquitos. They did provide a few electrical insect repellents and spray for us but we still prefer to stay in our air condition bedroom. Only during our first night stay, they surprise us with romantic candles path way in our villa from the door to our bedroom and light a burner in our bedroom. Nothing on the rest of the nights. They gave me a birthday cake on my birthday so that make up for the candles. Breakfast was simple and good. Fresh fruits, coffee / tea, main course & juice of your choice will be serve at your appointed time daily. They don't have a kitchen there, so try to select items that can be reheated. Overall we are happy with their service and we got really good deal using Hotels.com.

Fab Hotel, Lovely Staff
We stayed at the MayaLoka for five days. The villa was beautiful, exactly like the pictures! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the villas and reception area are very well kept and clean. The villa is just down a small road and a short taxi ride ($3.00) to the main square in Seminyak. I would highly recommend the MayaLoka and will most definitely come back again for a stay.

Great Stay
We loved the few days we spent at Mayaloka. We had a 2 bedroom villa with private pool which was the best thing. To come back to the villa after a day in the hustle and bustle and be able to 'veg out' in peace & quiet in the pool was fantastic. The staff were great and able to help us with everything we asked, overcoming any misunderstandings due to the language barrier. The villas are off the main drag, this means a walk of several hundred meters down a beaten track, we had a torch, didn't really need it but it allowed us to avoid pot holes! I also brought my own jar of nescafe & my hubby had his earl-grey T bags which we were both grateful for. Would definitely go back again

Formidable !
Magnifique villa. Très belle piscine, Très belle architecture, Très calme, Bel emplacement. Personnel très accueillant, très souriant, à votre disposition à tout moment. Aucun point négatif majeur ! Tout était bien, propre et fonctionnel ! Wifi inexistant le soir.

Un séjour agreable
Les petites villas sont très agréables, calmes. La piscine, le petit jardin qui l’entoure, la salle de bain largement ouverte sur l’exterieur font un beau lieu de repos. Un bémol sur le petit déjeuner qui sans être mauvais n’est pas à la hauteur de Bali. Au total un séjour agréable.

こじんまりしたヴィラ
ヴィラのコンディションは最良とはいえません。老朽化のためかメンテナンスができていなく、洗面台などの水回り、テレビ・ドライヤーなどの電化製品もほぼ全てに問題がありました。 残念ですが細かいことを気にする日本人には向いていないのかもしれません。（代金相応なのでしょうが、同等レベルならばヴィラよりホテルを推薦します）
