This hotel LOOKS nice depending on the angles of the pictures but very dated, and as I soon found out...not the current norm for Bali. The driver was really friendly and the bellhop (or boy as they called him) remained helpful even while we checked out 2 nights early due to disgust. Upon arrival, my room was upgraded for 1 night, the reason was not clear. I came in killing bugs. The bathroom was dim and dated. However, I decided that I would just deal with it because it was prepaid, no refunds. Then, the next day, the room was changed to what I apparently paid for...there were ants in the bathroom, bugs in the air... And the reason for early check-out, some kind of ceiling fallout or bug eggs on the bed!!! I called and told the front desk, she sent someone to look at the cleanliness. The staff came in, looked and swept it off the bed and onto the floor with his hand!!!!! Sprayed the ceiling w/bug spray and left!! No, he didn't sweep the floor. I called back down to the front desk to complain and the room was changed. So that night because it was late, there was no other option but to stay and I had already booked and paid for the next day's excursion w/the hotel's driver. I booked another hotel that night, went on the excursion the next morning. When we came back that evening, I told the same front desk staff from the previous night that this was unacceptable, I'm not comfortable and will be checking out. I had to argue w/ them to get transportation to the new hotel.
