There were 4 of us staying. We booked that hotel specifically for the two queen bed beds and sofa bed suite, even though it is not in a good part of Austin. We booked a suite with two queen beds and a double sofa bed online. We have an autistic son that does not sleep well with other people. We had 42 hours of traveling, got to the hotel past midnight dog tired, and got up to our room to find only 2 queen beds and no sofa bed. We went back down to the front desk to try to resolve the issue, but the staff at the front desk couldn’t speak English or understand us well. I had already spent two nights not sleeping in a bed, and it was extremely disappointing and exhausting to be up all night tending to my autistic son who refused to be in the bed with his brother rather than us all being able to get a good night of sleep. I will be calling to speak with management next week once I’ve rested and recovered.
