"It's a grand hotel in a superb location "

"This was a great location before getting on the cruise. Its right there! I'm a lil Ocd when it comes to clean before I relax in a room. I use Clorox wipes for everything I will touch! from the door to windows. Me and a friend tag team the room and there was literally no dirt on the wipes! do you know how rare that is?! The cleaning services there is amazing!"

"The service we received at the TAJ was exemplary. We booked the TAJ based on previous stays at 2 locations in India and are so glad we did. We were immediately greeted on arrival. The staff took charge of our numerous pieces of luggage and our reservation was pulled up while we were offered a special tea and then whisked away to our room. The room was quite large with seating and ample space to open our luggage. The bathroom was modern and huge and gorgeous. Everything worked! We were delighted we book the Executive floor and really enjoyed relaxing during the evening happy hour. The sparkling white wine they served was better than the ones we were served during wine samplings at 3 other locations. The service during the evening was great and helpful with tips for our stay. The breakfast buffet and service were spot on. There were many different types of food so it was easy to find something you wanted. Coffee was great and replenished frequently. After the first day our waitress remembered our preferences. She was a delight and made our stay even better. I would book this hotel again without looking further."

"Smallish rooms but well designed and had everything we needed. Only issue was that hot water was sometimes difficult to get in the shower but it was warm enough to use, just not optimal."

"Cute boutique hotel. Rooms are very small but nicely designed. Airstream park/bar on rooftop is super cute. Area outside hotel late at night can be sketch. We’re sad we didn’t get to experience the restaurant, it looked amazing. Would love to stay again."

"Remarkably friendly and helpful staff members made us want to return the next time we’re at Cape Town’s international airport. The shuttle from the airport was efficient and on time. However, although shampoo was provided in our bathroom, conditioner was not. We’ll try to remember to pack some in our luggage the next time we’re at this hotel."

"Loved the hotel and the breakfast was simply gorgeous and bountiful. The African market out front was the frosting on the cake. The swimming pool was an added bonus for my husband who does laps; it was small but adequate."
