"Maria del Carmen's lodging was in the beautiful Asturias countryside, near Novellana, which is an approximate 20-minute drive from the residence. The casa itself is relatively new and well-equipped with a bedroom, family room, kitchen, and clothes washing machine. When we weren't travelling around, we spent our time gazing out the large picture-window at the corn, cows, and horses in nearby properties. Overall, a lovely stay and well-worth your time."

"Nice house in quiet mountain village. Close to Sotres and Cares which can be reached by car, local bus, or walking. Host was helpful in providing local information. There is no Wi-Fi in the house, but we were able to join our hosts network, sitting on the bench outside their house a short walk away."

"This is a lovely house with wonderful views, the garden is pleasant, full of birds which enjoyed the stale bread that we put out. The neighboring cat also enjoys the visitors food. The owner speaks good English and is helpful.The negatives were the arbitrary parking, the access road is very narrow and we had a problem with the septic tank being full causing a bad smell in the cottage. The owner did manage to get the tank emptied, so I guess we were just a bit unlucky."

All of us (3 couples and 1 single) had separate bedrooms and our own in-suite bathrooms, and there were an additional 3 bedrooms we didn't need to use. The weather was cool and damp and found that the radiators were not able to be turned on I was told heating is extra. No WiFi either which is fine if I had known first."

"Great property; helpful and friendly owners; superb base for exploring the local area. The nearest town, Infiesto, is a 5-minute drive away with local well-stocked supermarket. We cooked most evenings using the wood barbecue in the private garden. There are good walks from the house and Oviedo, Gijon, Covadonga, etc. are within a 45 minute drive. We were a family group of 4 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room for everyone. All-in-all, a fantastic place to spend a holiday!"

"There was just the two of us, but we were taken with how spacious this former farmhouse with a newer extension was with no shortage of beds! There is a very large garden, completely walled off from the road outside so plenty of safe space to run around! The house and surrounds are very quiet, yet within easy reach of all that Asturias has to offer. Noemi, the host was on hand to greet us and show us around and was always very responsive.
