"Saw this place on hotel.com and thought I’d give it a whirl. It sits in a beautiful small town called Belleview.IA with lots of parks and access to the river and tons of shops and diners just a short walk away. Although the staff is off site they are super friendly, honest and pretty knowledgeable about the area which is great for first time visitors. "We enjoyed our stay at the log cabin. The accommodations were as advertised. The owners were very responsive to questions. The exterior of the property needed its spring cleanup and then it would have looked like the photos. The screen was torn out of the back entry to the porch. There was hair in the main floor sheets. We really liked sitting on the porch and even got a visit from a fox on our last morning!"

"If your looking for a modern, yet rustic cabin then this is it! This cabin is secluded, yet still close enough to shopping and the grocery. I was disappointed that the games require you to pay almost a dollar to use them. Would rather they just increase the fee and not charge to use the machines or take them out as kids can go thru some quarters when it’s almost a dollar a game. "Leading up to our stay, the hosts went above and beyond to answer all of my questions promptly. We felt safe, welcomed, and comfortable in this home and the amenities it provided. "It was a fun little cabin! It had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. We were greeted by cows for coffee in the morning and enjoying fire at night. We enjoyed being off the beaten path and yet still close to Gelena. If you want privacy and a little adventure, this is the spot!"
