"We reserved a room with a terrace, which was wonderful. It overlooked the plaza so it was fun to people watch from our very large terrace. It was quiet at night so no problem with noise. The tram stopped right in front of the hotel which was very convenient."

"We found the lady at check in to be an absolute delight. Personable, well-spoken and helpful. Our room was larger than expected, spotless,and quiet (top floor). Breakfast was plentiful and delicious and well stocked. A bit more expensive than some hotels in the area but worth the extra!"

"This place is TIRED- obviously Angers is a tourist town and probably not a lot of repeat visitors- The decor is cheap and the halls have a red and black theme and look old, poorly done in the first place and just tacky. The towels are gray and thin and in short supply- The bathroom had hot water but not a proper shower (sit in the tub with hand held)- On the good side, it's well located to tour Angers for a couple of days with parking on site. The breakfasts, while boring (with stale hard boiled eggs the only option other than yogurt and bread ) the coffee was very good and the woman working in the breakfast room was friendly (front staff was at times unfriendly) -in all it was a very 'just ok' place that felt kind yucky- would not stay again."

"Spotlessly clean room with a rack for my suitcase and somewhere to put unused cushions so as to keep them off the floor. Not a lot of interaction with staff but what there was was pleasant and helpful. I guess my biggest concern was what would happen if the lift broke down as I certainly couldn’t have managed the stairs. No tea (or other hot drink) making facilities, but that’s not the end of the world."
