I can´t praise this place enough. It´s everything you need for a great price. The room was nicely decorated and modern, with a perfect little ensuite, a very comfortable bed and air conditioning. True, there was no view, but that´s what going outside is for! The location was great, close to the cathedral. The staff were very helpful, and even let me try my Spanish out without automatically switching to English (though they spoke very good English when spoken to in English). The common area was very comfortable, like the basics section of an Ikea store, and I really have never seen anywhere that offers so much for so little.
"Great location for walking/shopping/people watchin"
Naomi was super helpful above and beyond. She was friendly caring and extremely accomodating...we speak very poor Spanish. The hotel was nice and clean and beds were comfy. The price was right and location key. I had trouble with wifi but my husband was able to connect. I will return if back in Granada!!
Newly refurbished, beautifully furnished, central location but quite side street. What more do you want? I booked the hotel based on other customers rating, and I was very pleasantly surprised. When I am going back to Granada, I will definitely stay again in Parraga Siete.
We got the best and most accurate information about getting tickets to the Alhambra from the front desk. Tickets go quickly and to get a ticket for the day one has to be in line almost two hours before the ticket office opens. I was advised to be in the line not later than 6:30 am and it's a good thing I did. When i was leaving the ticket office with my two tickets there were only 6 tickets left for the morning admission and 45 or so for the afternoon admission. That meant the more than 140 people in line behind me were not going to be able to get in that day at all.
Although I only stayed one night at the Navas Hotel, I was very impressed with the room! Cleanliness and orderliness...and NEWNESS seemed to prevail. The staff was super helpful, allowing me to leave my luggage after check-out and providing really good tips about knowing and getting around Granada. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!
Few minutes' walk from cathedral, Plaza Nueva etc. - makes it very easy to explore all of the historic parts of Granada. Taxis right in front of the hotel, in case walking is not an option.
Staff is very helpful, breakfast offering is very good for loading up before long walks :)
I have been to Granada for about 5 nights. Though I read many disappointing reviews about the hotel but I did not have many other options as I was late in reservation and so. Anyway, I can say that Casablanca is not that bad as most of comments say. The hotel is in the centre of Granada, easily reached..I loved that. It is about 5 min walk to Granada cathedral, 10-15 min from Alhambra. It is located very close to the shopping streets and grand via de colon. Just next to the hotel there are more than 1cafe you can have your breakfast there. About the elevator that most ppl made comments about I found it perfect, it is new, safe with no step level from the floor as mentioned by others. May be they have fixed this Pbm. About rooms, cleanliness come on it is 2 stars hotel I can not expect more than I got just a good safe place to have your night. The only Pbm I found was the noise of people when they r back at night, as rooms are v close. Overall it was good I enjoyed my stay at Casablanca.
Located in the city centre, a few steps from the historic district, Casablanca is a budget hotel in Granada . The hotel is …More
