Overall a really good hotel. Most of the rooms have now been refurbished to a high standard. There are 2 good restaurants for food in the evening - a buffet style restaurant and a sushi restaurant. Room service is also good. The gym has a good selection of equipment, although some of the cardio equipment is dated and could do with a service. Saying that, there are still plenty of weight and running machines available. I didn't use the outdoor pool, but the squash court is a great addition. Staff are friendly and the lobby area is a good social hub. Also the hotel is within 5 minutes walk to the nearest beach. I didn't see any shopping malls within walking distance (although there are several within a short taxi ride away)

“Sea view..”

the sea view is not that nice..there is an empty space between the hotel an the sea that doesnot look so nice

“Bad check Out time”

I booked in this hotel for my first night with my wife "just got married", my room was not ready when I did the check-in, also it was not prepared for married people as other 5 starts hotel usually doing for new couples. and staff was not friendly with us specially when it came to the check-out, they called me 15 mints before 1 O'clock the supposed time for the check out, and when I asked them for late check out they informed me it is not possible. I pushed my bride to hurry up to leave the room on time. so I think Sofitel should change this policy. honestly I will not repeat this visit again to this hotel. Regards, Hussain
