"The staff were very helpful and responsive. We stayed in a maisonnette and like some of the others have said the sea view is blocked partially by the buildings in front. The road that runs in front has parking but it's also noisy, and the balcony had no shade. "Excellent stay again at Villa Jazmin. Everything was perfect from arrival to leaving. Nicole kept in touch regarding towels and recommendations. Just a fantastic villa in a great location, a few km outside Plakias. Trips to Rethymno in 35 mins which we did a few times. Great places to eat nearby. "We had a wonderful time staying at the Villa Poseidon, fabulous villa, wonderful location, fantastic views and great communication with Nikos when we had a couple of issues. The pool area was great and cleaned daily, clean linen and towels were available on demand. Plakias village was an about a 5 minute drive and had everything you need with lots of tavernas to try and supermarkets, bakeries and meat market to stock up your supplies. "The pools and outside space are lovely at its very picturesque but the room was very dated and the bathroom was in poor condition with glass slats missing. The air-conditioning is old and struggled to cool the size of room. The shampoo and shower gel dispenser was broken when i contacted reception the receptionist was unhelpful. People smoke everywhere and even an employee who has a room in a no smoking area thinks it ok with children around. "

I would absolutely stay here again, but the mattresses need upgraded or memory foam toppers need to be added."
