I could write a book of all the great moments and interactions I had with the wonderful staff, the moments relaxing at the quiet, chill endless pool, or the moments just looking over the beautiful park below from the " Water Element" floors.
But to sum it all up, I'm a global traveler. I also travel alone and with groups, so my take on hotels is very, very broad and experienced.
Bangkok is a city, a city that moves 24/7, but keep in mind that most places close at 2 am now. However, having a wonderful jog at the park, then a great breakfast at the Sofitel, relaxing in the room before your sight seeing, lunch, then a splendid nite out, 2 am is really more than enough time to fit a deck of cards into a day. I just wanted to jump into the suite, open the windows over looking the skyline by late evening. However, a martini on the roof top bar was always a great , chill night cap.
5 Star experience without the gimmicks ( W Hotel), or over-priced suites along the muddy Green river ( Shangri La).

My 2 night stay in this hotel was a perfect choice in bangkok. The BTS is literally attached to the hotel for real, unlike hotel that says bts nearby but it is actually quite a distance. The location and ease of access via BTS was amazing.
Hotel room was in good condition. Hotel staff were also so much of help and are always pleasant.
I hate a great time and would definitely want to return again! the room service was great too, it was quick and scrumptious and very reasonably priced for the hotel standard.
The only downside was that i had the "do not disturb" sign on but still i had the hotel staff ringing my door bell,
That aside, Okura Prestige Bangkok is thumbs up!

It was a wonderful experience as the staff were very attentive and warm. The room was impressive and they served REALLY GOOD COFFEE and a good buffet spread for breakfast. Downside is if your room doesnt come in with complimentary breakfast, it may seems a bit costly considering you're staying in Bangkok..
We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. From the time we arrived until we left, all of the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was excellent, and the morning breakfast was a great start to each day.
