"6 day stay"
Perfectly located within a 5 min walk to a great many bar/restaurants/canals and a nice walk to the central station and sights. Facility is very clean, well appointed with excellent service. We had booked a standard room and we were accommodated right away when we asked for an upgrade to a larger superior room as we were going to be staying for a longer period of time. A superior room is the way to go if you like to spread out.

'Lovely Art Deco Period hotel- staff extremely helpful and friendly. 'Rooms (K, at least) spacious and gracious. On a busy square, but quieter on canal side.

"Location, Location Location!"
Phenomenal Experience. I had a bit of an issue with my iPad recognizing their wi-fi signal. They tried everything they knew to get it to work and when that wouldn't, they lent me their laptop to use while I was there. If that isn't amazing customer service, I don't know what is! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the jacquzzi was spotless and the rain head shower was divine! I loved the layout and the use of space in the design as well as the strategic pops of color and the converter that was installed in the room for people from the US who forgot one, as I did. The staff was excellent and was happy to answer any questions you had or make suggestions about where to go and what was going on that may be of interest to you. When I go back next year, i'm definitely going to stay there again. I've recommended it my friends and family.

"Nice hotel in a lovely location"
Our group was two adults and one infant. Cot bed very large and comfortable. Superior room has plenty of space to accomodate this. Supermarket very close by for baby supplies. Hotel set in a pleasant tree-lined street. Highly recommend staying in the Museum Quarter. Pleased we did not stay more central.

"Wedding weekend"
NH gave us a fab room on the 5th floor with stunning views over the city. It was quite noisy at night but we were n't bothered at all by the traffic whiz zing past. Staff were very helpful indeed.

"Good location, very pleasant hotel"
We stayed for 4 nights, and were very pleased. The room was spacious comfortable & very clean. The breakfast bar overlooked the garden patio. The area was quiet, but very close to many attractions including museums, trams, & restaurants.

"Beautiful boutique hotel in great central location"
Our fantastic experience of staying at Hotel Weber started before we even arrived when the lovely Monica emailed us to let us know the best route to get from the airport to the hotel (an easy and cheap 30 minute bus ride). She was expecting us when we arrived and was very friendly and helpful for the rest of our stay - even getting a present for my boyfriend when it was his birthday. The location is wonderful - very central so you can walk to all the attractions and with a bar downstairs so not far to stumble back to the room, but our room was quiet and peaceful so we could sleep easily. The rooms are beautifully decorated with fantastic light schemes - it's very different from the average room. The breakfast arrangements are fantastic; fresh bread (croissants, rolls, slices) is left outside your room in the morning and the fridge is stocked everyday with cheese, ham, salami, pate, soft cheese, jam, honey, chocolate spread, yoghurts, milk and cereal which you can use to have your own breakfast in bed (or at the table if you'd prefer) - so a great, relaxing start to the day. There is also a fabulous nespresso coffee machine which was the ebst coffee we had in Amsterdam! Check out is at midday so no need to rush off, then the hotel are very accomodating with leaving your luggage in a locked room and making sure they are available for you to come and pick it up. The stairs are steep but this is typical of Amsterdam. We really loved it and will definitely stay there again.

Pocket Guide: Amsterdam Museum Quarter 4 stars Hotels

Home to Amsterdam’s big three museums, the Museum Quarter includes the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum and the Stedelijk. The former is the huge national art collection. The Stedelijk is largely cutting-edge post-1945 art. The Van Gogh is home to 200 of the artist’s paintings. Nearby Leidseplein is the centre of Amsterdam’s more raucous nightlife, with famous clubs such as Paradiso and Melkweg. By day, visit the Art Deco Café Americain.
