"Great hotel with very helpful staff!"
Three nights in his hotel and we felt like it was home! The front desk staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful with anything we needed for our stay in Amsterdam. They even provided us with an umbrella when they saw us venturing out on a showery day! Bonus: the airport bus cost only 5 euros and stops right in front if the hotel! We stayed here another night on our return to Amsterdam and were greeted like family! We had a beautiful suite overlooking the canal for our final night in Europe. What a treat!

"Easy check In"
Very helpful Receptionist who explained everything about the hotel and area. Bedroom was a good size, plenty of hot water. Able to keep up to date with the news on TV as it had English channels. Towels were renewed everyday. Tea and Coffee facilities available in room. Only little niggle is that we had to print off our returning boarding cards at the hotel and were charged 35 cents per minute for using their computer, which I think is a bit harsh. But overall a great hotel in a great location, tram stops about 100 yards from the hotel, so easy to get to from Central Station.

"Nice place and good staff."
Everything about this hotel was great. But having been there now I'd say id pick a better location, especially if you are taking the train. Anne Frank and Museums are close by but further from other things. I'd pick something more centralized. But again great hotel.

"Perfect Location - Very Pleasant"
I initially had doubts that the hotel was located a little too far from the train station and Dam Square although that actually turned out to be a blessing. The hotel is on the very fringe of the central area and there are still many excellent sights to see right near the Hotel such as the museums, the giant letters and the park next door which was very relaxing, as well as all the shops and boutiques. Tram rides to train station are very cheap & frequent. The Hotel itself was a dream to stay in - the only slight downside being the noise of the bikes and trams during the late evening. I quickly got over that little hurdle using earplugs, though my wife didn't want them and she's a light sleeper so perhaps it wasn't as a big a problem as I thought. I would highly recommend this hotel.

"Boutique hotel virtually next to the Rijksmuseum"
We loved Hotel JL No76's convenient location in the heart of the museum and fashion district, the excellent breakfast buffet, the artworks around the dining area, the warm and knowledgeable staff, the very reasonably priced honesty bar, the quality menu, the incredibly comfy bed, the spacious bathroom, the quiet street of artists' townhouses, the good toiletries, the huge bay window in our bedroom, the proximity to the tram stop, the Nespresso machine, the large safe, the ample storage space, the wing chairs in reception and the cleanliness. A fantastic small hotel and we would love to return.

"Excellent hotel, close to city centre"
Fantastic hotel, and staff are very friendly and always available to help you out. We arrived a little early before check in time and the person at the front desk made us very welcome and made sure our room was available and also gave us some excellent tips on where to go in Amsterdam and also showed us where they were on a map, that became so valuable on our trip. We stayed in the basement room 15, which was also much bigger than I was expecting, with a massive bed and an amazing bathroom, and the Jacuzzi tub was brilliant after a long day exploring Amsterdam. We didn't have the breakfast but every morning it looked so good it would have been definitely worth it. The area to the back of the hotel had a really peaceful garden where you could sit and relax. In all the hotel and staff were excellent and I would recommend to anyone going to Amsterdam and will definitely use them again next time I am in Amsterdam.

"Beautiful boutique hotel in great central location"
Our fantastic experience of staying at Hotel Weber started before we even arrived when the lovely Monica emailed us to let us know the best route to get from the airport to the hotel (an easy and cheap 30 minute bus ride). She was expecting us when we arrived and was very friendly and helpful for the rest of our stay - even getting a present for my boyfriend when it was his birthday. The location is wonderful - very central so you can walk to all the attractions and with a bar downstairs so not far to stumble back to the room, but our room was quiet and peaceful so we could sleep easily. The rooms are beautifully decorated with fantastic light schemes - it's very different from the average room. The breakfast arrangements are fantastic; fresh bread (croissants, rolls, slices) is left outside your room in the morning and the fridge is stocked everyday with cheese, ham, salami, pate, soft cheese, jam, honey, chocolate spread, yoghurts, milk and cereal which you can use to have your own breakfast in bed (or at the table if you'd prefer) - so a great, relaxing start to the day. There is also a fabulous nespresso coffee machine which was the ebst coffee we had in Amsterdam! Check out is at midday so no need to rush off, then the hotel are very accomodating with leaving your luggage in a locked room and making sure they are available for you to come and pick it up. The stairs are steep but this is typical of Amsterdam. We really loved it and will definitely stay there again.

Pocket Guide: Amsterdam Museum Quarter 4 stars Hotels

Home to Amsterdam’s big three museums, the Museum Quarter includes the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum and the Stedelijk. The former is the huge national art collection. The Stedelijk is largely cutting-edge post-1945 art. The Van Gogh is home to 200 of the artist’s paintings. Nearby Leidseplein is the centre of Amsterdam’s more raucous nightlife, with famous clubs such as Paradiso and Melkweg. By day, visit the Art Deco Café Americain.
