Quiet hotel, but we went at the end of the season. Grounds were very well maintained with daily attention. Staff on duty at the pool and beach present at all times.
Reception staff could be a little off hand and spoke little English.
We had a great time here. A nice spacious room and bathroom, large bed, we got upgraded to a sea view. The main thing that amazed me was the value for money we experienced. For a 4 star hotel at the rates we got I was really impressed.
The only things that I'd mark the hotel down on are the distance to the beach (it's a 20 minute walk up a hill back from the beach - which is fine at first but by the end of the holiday was a bit of a drag) and the breakfast (and breakfast staff) which was fairly average.
But I would recommend this hotel to anyone. I thought it was great.
Hotel is in great location overlooking Porto Cervo Marina and offers great views over the area. Interior of hotel is beautifully furnished in local style. Staff are lovely and welcoming. Great place to use as a base for day trips to beaches and other cities, enjoy and unwind.

This was a beautiful hotel, situated right on the beach. The hotel was well-maintained and the staff could not do enough to help you. The breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever tasted. To top it all off we were upgraded to a room with a sea view upon arrival. My only complaint would be that you had to pay for the wifi!

I have chosen hotel Panorama because of very good reviews and, I agree, it was a great introduction to Sardinia; a place I would like to see again. Location is great: in the historic centre. Very good restaurants nearby and helpful instructions from hotel staff. They are very friendly and had an important contribution to a very pleasant stay. Availability of parking, near the hotel, without any hassle in an, otherwise busy, area allows tourists to combine sightseeing in Olbia with escapes to beautiful beaches nearby. Nightlife is around the corner; without noise in the hotel.
The roof terrace was my favourite retreat: a place to lie in the sun, watch the sunrise or return for drinks in the evening. Yes, the best view of Olbia, as suggested.
I only have good words about the room, daily housekeeping and fantastic breakfast. Not to forget to mention the offer of Italian coffee made to order and brought with a smile that could improve any mood on any day...
Definitely agree with previous reviews. Hoping to return to Panorama!

This hotel is set in beautiful gardens, with 2 swimming pools on a split level. Great views of Tavolara Island. The room we had (128) was a decent size in a quiet spot, also with a nice view.
What sets this hotel apart from others, is the staff. Most of them have good English, & we're very attentive, we never had to ask for anything twice. They were so welcoming & informative.
The restaurant for an evening meal, is amazing. Very high quality of food & service. A little expensive, but we had some really delicious, wow food. Much better than we were expecting. Usually hotel restaurants are not very good, this place is special, a real treat.
Breakfast is also very good, a very plentiful buffet.
A little note. Should you like a proper coffee, & not the stuff they have to offer at the buffet, the eating staff are happy to get the coffee you like. Be it an espresso, cappuccino, or Americano.
Nothing is too much trouble.
For a relaxing afternoon by the pool, there is a pool bar, with again, a very attentive waiter.
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

"Comfort and cleanliness A1 but would only recommend to those who like all inclusive packages"
Upon making our reservation it was not at all clear that this hotel caters to an "all-inclusive" clientele meaning buffet-style meals, animation and entertainment by hotel staff during cocktail hour and a somewhat rigid schedule. For example, the pool was inexplicably closed between 13h00 and 15h00, normally the time of day one would like a dip because of the hot sun! The property is close to a 1km walk from the beach, a mini-train provides transportation back and forth every 30 min. Being situated along the main road several km from the center of San Teodoro, a car is essential for going into town for meals etc. The property was clean and very new, the rooms and bathrooms large and comfortable. I would not recommend this hotel for someone looking for charm or wanting to be able to stroll from the hotel to the center of town.
