We stayed here for a week in September 2014. We were delighted with out room which was clean, spacious and overlooked the pool. The hotel itself is small and well staffed, the pool is clean and there are planty of sunbeds. The pool bar however was not open during our stay. The restaurant was delicious, however it is quite expensive and is very rich food - good for a treat! The bar itself is good, if a little expensive (a tip - the wine if E3.50 a small glass but abottle is only E10!) but you get snacks with your drinks. Lots of comments are around the dissappointing breakfast - we were prepared for a terrible breakfast! But it was fine, your standard continental breakfast - you get what you pay for remember!
There is a lovely pizzerias just down the road (not open mondays or tuesdays) which is popular, cheap and wonderful food! There is a supermarket around the corner which is good for stocking up on water and snacks. Beaches are nearby. We had a car, there is plenty parking accross from the hotel, and it was very useful as the hotel is a little out in the sticks, but I believe the public transport is easy and reliable and cheap.
One comment - Expedia flew us to Cagliari airport which was at the other end of the island and a LONG drive - there is an aiport ten mins from the hotel! We assumed Expedia would have flown us to the nearest hotel and we were dissppointed in this, but will know for next time.
Great hotel with fantastic staff. Helpful but not intrusive and always cheerful. We would definitely stay here again and also would recommend to friends.
Stayed for a week and is perfectly located to explore Sardinia.

"good place to stay before catching a flight home"
Great place to stay before catching a flight from Olbia airport. You can't get lost in the morning as you can see the planes from the hotel ( though it isn't too noisy).. Lovely pool to cool off in after a long drive, restaurant looks great but we opted for the cheaper pizza place across the road. You could walk to the airport in ten minutes from here. Reception happy to print off boarding passes - computers for guest use in reception at no extra charge.
Really good breakfast buffet.
Functional clean hotel used by tour groups. Welcoming and helpful staff. Very convenient to the Old Town with plenty of restaurants close by. We had no problem finding roadside parking within 100m of the hotel but the hotel also offers garage parking at €8/day. Fridge provided in room.
Good location easy walk into the town centre giving you a choice of places to eat in the evening, although the hotel restaurant served good food very reasonably priced in nice surroundings around the hotel pool.
The nearest beach was very nice but about a mile from the hotel so a car or bike is required to get to it easily.

We enjoyed staying at Il Querceto and the staff was really helpful. Our initial complaint was about not having an in-room safe (for passports etc.) but the hotel is in quite remote location so less tempting for robbery. Breakfast was fine for us, not too heavy.
Tip: do not try to check-in earlier than 3pm. We've tried that and our room was ready at 4pm
The hotel was an interesting building and a good mix of character and comfort. The staff were very welcoming and professional and really made sure that I had all the information that I needed to get around Olbia. The breakfasts were fantastic - a vast choice and good quality food. A really good place to stay.
