"This property exceeded my expectations. Every aspect of my visit was wonderful. Check in and staff could not have been more helpful. The room was comfortable clean and updated. Breakfast had plenty of options, fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, sausage, breads and more. Location was perfect with restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Walkable to all the bar harbor restaurants, bars and shopping."

"The property was great. We went to the campfires a couple of nights. There is a nice winery within walking distance. Our door stuck pretty badly. Request to not stay in 14. Our only real issue is the bed was not great. My wife and I are older. We have a very nice mattress at home because of our backs. "

"We were looking for one last trip together before the baby comes. The cottage at the Open Hearth Inn was perfect. A very comfortable, warm space with all the amenities we needed. While Acadia is not as close a walk as we thought it would be, it was a close drive. We are very happy we stayed there and hope to be returning some day with a bigger family. "

"Great location. Easy to find. We checked in late and the parking lot was full near the room, so we were allowed to park at the end of the lot 2 doors away from our room. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, and the towels were great! We’d been on the road for two weeks. Best towels by far! Only disappointment was no microwave in the room. There was no coffee pot either, but we were able to get it at the front desk thanks to Susie. We would definitely stay...
