"We enjoyed our stay with Chaweng budget. Paying the budget price allowed us to access the pools and beach by the Chaweng cove resort. The hotel is conveniently located with 7/11 right across the street and numerous restaurants and massages places nearby. Front desk staff is very nice and helpful although the English is a little hard to understand at times. I would certainly come back again or recommend it to any of my friends."

"Lovely resort, with bar, pool right on the beach. V central to bars and restaurants. Splurge for the bungalows or ask for a room not at the rear... further from the streets late bar noise. Lovely breakfast and lunches. V reasonable prices for all food and bar too. "

"I just would not recommend staying here: very old building that was converted into a hotel. Rooms are on the third floor with no elevator and very narrow and steep wooden stairs. "

"We had a room with a plunge pool which we used quite often and it was nice to relax in to beat the heat, especially on evenings. Room was spacious and plenty of outside space to relax and hang washing etc. One slight annoyance was the fact mosquitoes somehow were getting in throughout the night even though we had all doors and windows locked and I got bit quite a few times even with repellent on. Breakfast was good and all the staff were very friendly. I would recommend this place based on...

"These rooms are incredible- 4 star feel for 2 star price- the pool was cool and refreshing, but there was no shade so it was hard to stay in too long. Must rent a motorbike or get rides in this area though. There is no convenience store close by but it is a nice retreat if you arent looking to be in the main area. The resort across the street ( I believe a Hyatt) let us use their beach one day though. We rented a motorbike to see the island which the hotel helped us with. It was a big change...
