Description
Weekday tickets (exculding Japanese natinnal holidays: 2025/11/3,24)
“Premium nighttime viewing” of Kenchoji Temple, the first of the Kamakura Five Mountains.
This event follows on from last year's “ZEN NIGHT WALK KYOTO,” which was held at Kenninji, Kyoto's oldest Zen temple, and attracted more than 30,000 people from Japan and abroad. It is a premium nighttime viewing event to be held at Kenchoji, a Zen temple in Kamakura that opened Japan's oldest full-scale Zen training centre and which will mark the 750th anniversary of the death of its founder, Daikaku Zenji, in 2028.
Feel the autumn breeze and walk through the mountains, surrounded by autumn leaves and neuromusic to soothe your brain.
This sound art night event features projection art and the giant “Cloud Dragon Painting,” a symbol of Kenchoji Temple. Surrounded by sound, silence, light and shadow, it is a wandering sound art night event that will soothe your mind, body and brain.
