Welcome to my culinary studio!

In this experience, I will take you by the hand to discover the secrets of Yucatecan gastronomy. As a chef originally from Yucatán, I will share with you the traditional techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation.

During the class you will learn and participate in:

Artisanal Milling and Seasoning: Grind your own pasta with our traditional tools to achieve the exact balance of flavour.

Dough and Hand-Made Tortillas: Learn the exact point of the dough and the traditional technique to press and puff tortillas on the griddle.

The Perfect Pibil: Discover the marinating technique, the use of the banana leaf, and the secrets of Yucatecan adobo

Salsas in Molcajete: Prepare the iconic Xnipec sauce (red onion and habanero) and traditional roasted sauces.

Sweet Touch: Prepare crispy homemade churros to close the session.

Intimate and Air-Conditioned Environment: Enjoy a comfortable workshop and drinks bar in an intimate space for a maximum of 4 people.

Activity itinerary

Experience a private, authentic, and intimate gastronomic experience in the kitchen of our home in Tulum. As a chef originally from the Yucatán Peninsula, I will open the doors of my studio to guide you step by step in discovering the secrets and traditional techniques of my land's cuisine. Unlike commercial or mass classes, this is a private author session designed for small groups where detail and interaction are the protagonists. We will use fresh local ingredients and traditional tools to prepare a feast full of flavour, from the sauces to the dessert. At the end of the preparation, we will sit together at the table in a warm and relaxed atmosphere to enjoy everything that has been cooked, accompanied by house drinks and great conversations.
