Begin your visit at the village meeting point and get dressed in traditional attire (kebaya or lurik) before heading out to explore the area. Depending on the day’s arrangement, enjoy a scenic gerobak (cow carriage) ride or cycling-style village tour, taking in the landscapes, daily village activities, and photo-worthy spots along the way.

Next, experience jemparingan, the classic Javanese style of archery. Learn the basics from locals, understand the cultural context, and try your hand at hitting the target.

Get a taste of the village’s creative traditions with a short gamelan course and a batik session (either ecoprint batik or batik malam using wax). Then, visit the cow and lamb farm, and sample local specialities such as tempe/emping.

To keep you refreshed, the experience includes local snacks and fresh coconut, and you’ll be accompanied by an English-speaking local guide throughout. The activity ends back at Kampung Kebaya Kembang, where it began.
