What you can expect

  • 9:00 Gathering: Meet punctually at the base entrance. The team leader will guide participants to the Science Education Centre.
    Check-in: check-in, submission of event materials, signing of the Safety Agreement for Charity Experience Activities, luggage storage, and distribution of work uniforms and gloves.
    Visiting the panda park: participants will then visit the Giant Panda Habitat under the guidance of science educators to explore the park, learn about panda conservation knowledge and fascinating stories.
    Making ''WOwo Tou'': participate in making traditional “Wowo Tou” (rice cakes) by understanding their recipes and nutritional benefits for pandas.
    Lunching: Enjoy authentic Sichuan cuisine with staff at the cafeteria.
    Watching a documentary about giant pandas: Watch a documentary about giant pandas to learn about conservation efforts and research breakthroughs.
    Green Tea Cake Analysis: Study panda feces through close observation to understand wild population monitoring techniques.
    Creative Craft: Create panda-themed sculptures using clay modelling materials.
    Science Museum Tour: Explore panda-related exhibits with conservation experts.
    Certificate Ceremony: Receive official certificates, share reflections, take commemorative photos, and return identification badges.
