What you can expect

Take a day trip from Xi'an to Mount Huashan, one of the five sacred mountains in China. Take a cable car to the West Peak or North Peak, hike to the South Peak, and visit some Taoist Temple on the way.

Meet your guide and driver in the morning and set out for Mount Huanshan. Situated in Huayin City, 120 kilometres (about 75 miles) east from Xi'an City of Shaanxi Province, the mountain is known as 'The Number One Precipitous Mountain under Heaven'.

Upon arrival, take the cable car to West Peak or North Peak. Then hike to South Peak, which is the highest peak of Mt. Huashan. After enjoying the stunning scenery and endless views, take the cable car down the mountain. There are different options upon booking.

After the visiting, return to your car for the journey back to Xian.
