What you can expect

Start your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Xi’an. Head to the Bell Tower Post Office to meet your guide and group. Then, set off on a scenic drive to the Hukou Waterfall, the second-largest waterfall in China and the largest yellow waterfall in the world.

Stop for lunch at a local restaurant, where you can enjoy a traditional Shaanxi meal (at your own expense). After lunch, continue to the Hukou Waterfall. Spend 2.5 hours exploring the area, taking in the breathtaking views of the waterfall and the surrounding landscape.

Get up close to the waterfall and feel the power of the Yellow River as it cascades down the rocks. Find the best spots for photos, or opt for a helicopter ride (at your own expense) to see the waterfall from above.

Immerse yourself in the local culture as you listen to traditional Shaanxi folk songs and watch a drum performance. If you’re lucky, you might even get to join in the fun. After your visit to the waterfall, return to Xi’an, where your tour ends at the Bell Tower.
