The Hydropolis Environmental Education Centre is a unique water knowledge centre that combines educational values with modern exhibition formats. Hydropolis is also an exceptional example of the revitalisation of a post-industrial facility. The water exhibition is housed in a 19th-century, neo-Gothic, underground clean water reservoir with a surface area of 4,600 m². The building has been listed as a historical monument since 2002. Hydropolis is the only facility of its kind in Poland and one of only a few in the world. It is an integral part of the Wrocław Waterworks and the largest educational project.
