What you can expect

  • Discover Manecon, a traditional wine from the island of Fogo, through a simple, authentic, and friendly experience with a local family.

You will be welcomed into a family home, where you can learn about the history and tradition of Manecon, an artisanal wine produced on the island of Fogo from grapes grown on its volcanic soils.

During this experience, you will taste Manecon in a relaxed and warm atmosphere, while talking with your hosts about local life, the traditions of Fogo, and the place of wine in the island's culture.

This is not a professional tasting with a sommelier or a vineyard tour, but a moment of sharing with a local family, allowing you to taste a typical product and discover an authentic aspect of the local culture.

An ideal experience for travellers who want to meet the locals, discover the traditions of Fogo, and share a friendly moment over a glass of Manecon.
