It was in 1905 that Mr. Grégoire Fritz produced the first litres of wine.
In the 1950s, the Domaine Fritz was managed by Mr. René Fritz, who continued the tradition and expanded the vineyard. In 1993, his daughter Catherine Fritz and her husband Bernard Schmitt took over the estate, giving rise to the Domaine Fritz-Schmitt. Their children have since joined the family business in turn. It is the combination of all these personalities that enables us today to produce authentic wines with character.
