      Know before you book

        • If the lunch option is selected, choose from four meals, including fish & chips and a vegetarian option. Lunch is served at approximately 3pm. If The George Inn is unavailable, we'll arrange a similar alternative. Lunch may be served later than usual or replaced with an early supper.
        • Windsor Castle is closed Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and December 25–26; on these dates you'll have free time to explore the town of Windsor instead.
        • St George's Chapel is closed on Sundays (extra time at the castle precincts instead). If the State Apartments are occasionally closed, your tour may visit the precincts, St George's Chapel (except Sundays), or Queen Mary's Dolls' House instead.
        • After the tour, you'll be dropped off near Gloucester Road (London Underground Station) at approximately 8:30 PM.
        • The order of the itinerary may change due to traffic or operational reasons.

        For lunch, stop in the enchanting village of Lacock — a medieval gem so perfectly preserved it has starred in beloved productions including Pride & Prejudice, Downton Abbey and Wolf Hall. Here, enjoy a hearty one-course meal at the George Inn, a characterful 14th-century pub that has been welcoming travellers for over 700 years. (Pub meal included if option selected)

        Finally, arrive in the UNESCO-listed city of Bath, founded on natural hot springs in Roman times. Take in the elegant Georgian architecture, visit Bath Abbey and stand on Pulteney Bridge to gaze down at the flowing River Avon, before some free time to shop or enjoy afternoon tea and classical music at The Pump Room.
