At 10:30 a.m., the true local immersion begins in the historic city centre district; we will step off the bus at Plaza de La Concordia, a traditional local market where you will awaken your senses with a curated exotic fruit tasting. From there, we will walk to Chorro de Quevedo, “the legendary birthplace of the city”. As we stroll through the beautiful, cobblestone colonial streets of La Candelaria, you will enjoy an authentic Bogotá food tour by sampling delicious traditional Colombian snacks and a speciality Colombian coffee. After marvelling at the historic Plaza de Bolívar, we will conclude our walk with an exclusive visit to a local emerald workshop to discover why Colombia’s gems shine brightest on the global stage.

If you do not take Monserrate Option, we return to north but finishing at Zona T and Zona Rosa area, full of restaurants and things to do in Bogota.
