Place De La Bourse

We start in this central square, a meeting point between different areas of Brussels and an ideal place to introduce the general context of the city and the route.

Place St. Gery

We discovered the area where the city was born, a key place to understand its medieval origin and its evolution over the centuries.

Rue de la Grande Ile

We visited one of the few visible stretches of the River Senne, essential to understand the urban development of Brussels and its historic transformation. The visit to this point depends on access at the time of the tour. If this is not possible, it will also explain its importance in the surroundings.

La Bourse de Bruxelles

We stop in front of the old Stock Exchange, symbol of the transformation of Brussels into a modern financial centre. Today it hosts the Belgian Beer World, reflecting the cultural importance of beer in Belgium.

St. Nicholas Church (Pass by)

We will pass through one of the oldest churches in the centre, historically linked to merchants and guilds.

Grand Place

We visit the most emblematic square of Brussels, surrounded by guild houses and historic buildings that reflect the splendour of the city in the Modern Age.

Hotel Amigo, a Rocco Forte hotel (Pass by)

We will cross the area where an old medieval prison was located, today converted into one of the most exclusive hotels in the city.

Tintin Mural Painting

During the tour we can see some of the murals of the comic characteristic of Brussels, integrated into the urban landscape. Tintin's is an example, we could see any other during the tour instead of this one.

Manneken Pis

We will learn the real storey behind the most famous (and surprising) symbol of Brussels, far beyond the simple anecdote

Tour De Villers

We will pass by one of the few visible remains of the ancient wall that protected the city in the Middle Ages.

Rue De Rollebeek (Pass by)

We will descend this historic street that connects the centre with the upper part of the city, showing the urban contrast of Brussels and seeing some of the buildings that are preserved from the 15th century.

Place du Grand Sablon

We explore one of Brussels’ most charming neighbourhoods, where history, art and urban transformation are intertwined around its squares and churches.

We can see this emblematic Gothic church of the Sablón district, a key point in the religious and artistic history of the city.
