Come and immerse yourself in the world of Cézanne with drawing and painting in nature, starting from the Carrières de Bibémus.
Go for a walk with Elodie, a guide specialising in the painter Paul Cezanne.
She'll offer you an interpretation of the master's works on the subject, his history, and his pictorial choices.
Your guide will accompany you through the Aix countryside, in the heart of the landscapes that so inspired the father of modern art. It was at the foot of Sainte-Victoire mountain that he set up his easel over a century ago.
Then, we'll set you up in front of the motif, and our collaborator, an artist-painter and visual arts teacher, will introduce you to creating from life. The artist will adapt their teaching to all levels and all audiences. Kids are welcome. All the equipment is provided.
On each outing, you can try a different technique: charcoal, dry pastels, oil pastels, or painting, in different locations on the Bibemus plateau.
Come and enjoy a sensory experience through artistic expression in the heart of nature, and take home your own creation.
