What you can expect

  • There is a place, hidden in the Reggio countryside, where time seems to have stopped. Between the end of the 17th century and the beginning of the 18th century, the Dukes of Este wanted a residence of leisure and wonder here, immersed in a boundless park, with French gardens, fish ponds, gushing fountains, and halls ready to host dances and hunting trips.

It was their little Versailles, a haven of elegance and pleasure in the midst of nature. Then came abandonment. Silence. The brambles. But not everything has been lost.

Today, thanks to expert restorations, we can once again walk within those walls, breathe the air of a sumptuous era, and be enchanted by what remains: carefully designed perspectives, glimpses of beauty, and atmospheres that whisper stories of ladies, dukes, and secrets.

A visit, during which we will stroll through its park, which is a journey through time: to imagine, sense and relive the timeless charm of one of the most fascinating Este delights in Emilia.

THE TOUR TAKES PLACE OUTSIDE AS THE PALACE IS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC.
