Come to visit Hoa Lu, you will learn about why the capital was moved to Hanoi nowadays. You are impressed on an outstanding architecture when entering temples of King Dinh and King Le, the first and second emperors of ancient Vietnam, built in the 17 century. Try to feel ancient atmospheres in Hoa Lu ancient capital.

Today your expert English-speaking local guide will give you an insight into the intricacies and traditions of Vietnamese food culture, including details on the ingredients and historical backgrounds of popular northern dishes. We eat as we go, trying seasonal fruits and sampling a tasty French-inspired snack from a street cart.
Walking through the maze of bustling streets that make up Hanoi’s Old Quarter, we tempt our taste buds with the famed Hanoi dish such as Bun Cha and Banh Cuon at a local eatery. Watch in awe as the skilled chefs demonstrate how this tasty dish is put together. Continuing into the atmospheric heart of the Old Quarter, we wander past street stalls and quiet residential lanes where you can observe local life that has changed little since Hanoi was founded over 1000 years ago.
Hang Gai Street (Street of Hemp)
Our next two snack stops are at outdoor barbecue stalls. We sit down with the Hanoi locals and sample various meat, vegetable, and bread specialities that are flame-grilled over hot coals for extra flavour. It’s then time for dessert as we venture down a small alley to join in the local tradition of feasting on fresh fruit served in a cup and smothered with crushed iced and condensed milk – this speciality cannot be missed!
Your local guide will then take you to one of Hanoi’s best-kept secrets, a hidden street food restaurant to taste the top ten street foods in Hanoi - Banh My Hanoi, Vietnamese Rice Wine, and famous Egg Coffee. This hard-to-find café is one of the few left in the narrow street inside the old quarter of Hanoi. Or, if coffee is not your style, a cold beer awaits! At the end of the trip you are free to continue exploring the area or your guide will assist you with directions or a taxi back to your hotel.
Day 4: Travel From Hanoi To Sapa - Trekking to Cat Cat Village (B/L/D) - join a group tour

Get up early in the morning and get ready for your adventure to Sapa. We will pick you up from the hotel around 6:0 am and transfer you to Sapa by bus.
Upon arrival in Sapa, your guide will meet you and take you to the hotel to check in and have lunch. After that, we will have a short trek to the gate of Cat Cat village which is home to Black Hmong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. You will see the daily life activities of the locals which are kept the same for centuries. Then trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall to see an old Hydraulic Power Station built by the French during colonial times. Spend some time making amazing pictures with the waterfall, station, and bridge and taking some rest in this picturesque place before walking uphill to the road. When you reach the road you will be transferred to your hotel for some rest and have dinner.
Day 5: Trek Through The Rice Terraces to y Linh Ho, Lao Chai, and Ta Van - transfer back to Hanoi (B/L)

Have breakfast at the hotel and get ready for one more day of trekking. We will leave the hotel around 9:30 am and enjoy a nice walk to Y Linh Ho. First start of 6km of walking down to the southeast of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of the Black Hmong.
Continue a 2km-trekking down to Lao Chai village, through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people. Lunch with a local family, gives you a worthwhile chance for you to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily lifestyles and exclusive custom. Enjoy the landscapes…on the way. The last trek is about 2 km to the bus stop in Tavan then get back to Sapa by jeep or minivan.
14h30-14h45: transfer back to Hanoi by bus
Day 6: Cruising to The Spectacular Halong Bay (B/L/D) - shared cruise

Halong Bay is a natural wonder of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site, and once you arrive there, you will understand why. Get ready to be amazed by the world's most breathtaking views, and have a relaxing time on the cruise, enjoying the exciting activities we have prepared for you.
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and leave Hanoi for Halong Bay.
The cruise team will meet you at the hotel lobby between 8:00-9:00 am (we will confirm the exact time the day before the tour).
Halong Bay
Arrive at the jetty around noon and take a boat to the cruise. After a welcome onboard and check-in, lunch will be served while the cruise is making its way through the hundreds of islets.
In the afternoon, enjoy some activities such as swimming and kayaking or visiting caves (depending on each boat’s itinerary), or just spend relaxing time on board.
Towards the end of the day, the boat sets anchor for the night in a beautiful place, so don't miss the sunset before having dinner.

In case of bad weather, the itinerary might be changed or cancelled if the boats will be not allowed to leave the port. Your travel consultant will plan other arrangements for you in this case.
Day 7: Halong Bay - Travel To Hoi An (B)

The sun rises on Halong in the morning, and breakfast is served while the vessel cruises slowly back towards the port. Enjoy an early lunch before arriving at the port and disembarking.
You will be transferred to the airport in Hanoi to take your flight to Hoi An.
Upon arrival, your driver will meet you and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free time.
Day 8: Hoi An Eco Tour (B/L) - join a group tour

Our English - speaking guide will meet you at the hotel around 8:00 am and take you for a cycle trip to the countryside and rivers around Hoi An
As you meander through the countryside, you will experience the friendliness of the local people greeting you along the way and enjoy the beautiful views of the area.
After that, you will explore the Eco-Village Cam Thanh which is associated with the heroic history of the anti-French and anti-American war by taking a paddle boat trip in a unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat down the waterways of a coconut palm paradise.

Hue City is the cultural, political, and economic centre of the Thua Thien Hue province, and used to be an old imperial city of Vietnam under the Nguyen Dynasty.
During this time, the most remarkable architectural monuments were constructed, which now are listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites.

11:00: Visit the Khai Dinh Tomb.

In the afternoon

Day 11: Discover The Fascinating Cu Chi Tunnels (B) - join a group tour

Cu Chi Tunnels
Cu Chi Tunnels is a legendary underground system of over 220 km of tunnels, a must-see for both Vietnamese and foreign travellers who are interested in the history of the Vietnam War. The tunnels are now a historical structure of Vietnam and considered a heroic district for the role they played in the resistance to US forces during the Vietnam War.
The tunnels are located approximately 60km from Ho Chi Minh city. The tour departs at 8:00 am from your hotel in district 1. Enjoy the scenery along the way, as we pass the lush, endless rice fields and the ducks are water buffaloes swimming in the rivers. You might find it hard to imagine that once the area was almost completely destroyed by bombs and mines from the war, when Cu Chi was a “free target zone “.
Cu Chi Tunnels
Once we arrive, you will get a chance to walk through some of the tunnels, discover the hidden corners and imagine what life was like here for the resistance soldiers. If you like, try to cook with the smokeless stoves used by Vietnamese soldiers to cook during the war. You can even try foods which the soldiers lived on. If you’re feeling brave, or curious, you can even try your hand at shooting at AK-47, one of the guns used during the war.
Head back to the city in the afternoon; the tour finishes at 2:30 PM.
Day 12: Explore The Rice Bowl Of Vietnam - Mekong Delta (B/L) - join a group tour

Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River.

Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.
Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation.
Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut sweets workshop.
Have lunch at local restaurant. Break time.
In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta. Hammock relaxing and enjoy cool breeze for those can’t join the cycling trip. Return to Ho Chi Minh City.
