What you can expect

Begin with an early departure from Vienna, travelling by modern, air-conditioned coach. Pass pleasant countryside views and schedule a rest stop after approximately 1.5 hours of driving, if needed.

Arrive around mid-morning at Stift Admont and spend time exploring the monastery’s Baroque architecture, the stunning historic library, and inner courtyard.

After the abbey visit, continue by coach to Hallstatt, a picturesque lake village nestled between mountains and Hallstätter See. Upon arrival in the early afternoon, take a guided walking tour of the village, then enjoy free time to stroll the old town, take photographs by the lake, and have lunch at local restaurants.

In the late afternoon, board the coach for the return trip to Vienna, arriving in the evening.
