Know before you book

The official St. Mark’s Basilica ticket price is 12.00 euros per person (standard) or 24.00 euros with terrace access; the remaining part of the price covers assistance at the meeting point, accompanied entry with a certified guide or host, access to the Venice Gallery and sales costs.
A valid ID document is mandatory for security checks at the entrance to the Basilica.
Due to security reasons, luggage and big bags are not allowed inside the Basilica and Doge's Palace
For the visit to the basilica, clothing appropriate to the place of worship is required (NO bare legs and shoulders)
In the case of exceptionally poor weather and high or low tides, the gondola ride will be cancelled. The gondola fee will be refunded
In the case of unplanned church services, or during days of exceptionally high tide, access to Saint Mark's Basilica may not be possible. In this case, you may be offered an alternative tour, or choose to take the tour another day
