Depart from Las Vegas and head to the legendary “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign, a perfect first photo stop and an iconic introduction to the city. Continue towards the Arizona border and pause at Hemenway Park, where the shimmering waters of Lake Mead are framed by desert mountains, and desert bighorn sheep often wander freely across the lawns. Guano Point, another spectacular stop, offers a short climb to a panoramic overlook where 360-degree views of the canyon unfold in every direction, with the Colorado River winding far below. On clear days, the contrast of red cliffs against the bright desert sky creates some of the most striking scenery in the Southwest.
