What you can expect

  • I'm Anna, born and raised right here in Valpolicella, the land that gave birth to Amarone. I speak fluent English — a language rarely spoken in this area's small, family-run wineries — which lets me be a genuine bridge between you and the people who make the wine, every single day.

Our Incontro unfolds in two parts. First, we explore the territory together: I'll pick you up from your accommodation and we'll venture through the five historic municipalities of Valpolicella Classica, past villages, vineyards and views you'd struggle to find on your own — your curiosity sets the pace.

Then I take you to a small, family-run winery I've personally chosen for your group: you'll be welcomed like friends, not like the next busload of tourists. A member of the family — often the one who makes the wine with their own hands, sometimes the one who's loved and told its storey for a lifetime — will guide you through the vines and the cellar, sharing the storey of their land, before offering a guided tasting of 4 to 6 wines, an authentic expression of this territory.

The whole experience lasts about 2 to 3 hours, with no rush at all. At the end, I'll drive you back to your accommodation, leaving you with the taste of Valpolicella in your heart.
