Enjoy a tasting of Valencian vermouth while taking a boat ride on the Albufera, Spain's largest freshwater lake.
When you arrive in the village of El Palmar, a former fishing village a few kilometres from the city of Valencia, we'll be waiting for you at the “Rosa la barquera y Tonet” jetty.
From there, we'll take the typical traditional boat and go to the place chosen that day depending on the weather. We'll drop anchor and start the vermouth tasting.
In the meantime, the boatman or boatwoman will tell you about the history of the village, its traditions, and give you information about the flora and fauna of the natural park. Once we've stopped, we'll serve the vermouths. We'll talk about the history of vermouth in Spain and specifically in the Valencian community, the wineries, the production process, and the different botanicals used in each one. All of this accompanied by an starter (tapas)
